Network School works best for people who are self-directed and motivated. If you are already working on a project, running a business remotely, or learning a new skill and want an environment that accelerates your progress, NS is designed for you. People who thrive here tend to be curious, open to meeting strangers from different countries, and comfortable with a degree of structure in their daily routine. You should also be comfortable living in a developing country. Forest City is not a major city. It is a quiet, somewhat isolated development on the southern tip of Malaysia, and the nearest urban center is Johor Bahru, about 30 minutes away by car.

If you need complete privacy and solitude, NS Basic's shared rooms will be challenging. If you are not interested in fitness, health-focused meals, or community events, you may find the culture alienating. Network School is not a vacation or a resort. It is a working community, and members are expected to be productive and engaged. If you are looking for a cheap place to party in Southeast Asia, this is not the right program. Similarly, if you cannot commit to at least one full month, the cohort structure will not work for you.

NS Basic costs $1,500 per month and NS Pro costs $3,000 per month. This is all-inclusive, covering housing, three meals daily, gym, coworking, laundry, and a SIM card. You should also budget for transportation costs, including flights and local Grab rides, plus any personal expenses like day trips to Singapore or eating out. If you are currently paying more than $1,500 per month for rent, food, and a gym membership in a Western city, Network School may actually save you money. But if $1,500 is a significant financial stretch, consider whether one month of intense immersion is worth it for your goals.
