Application Review Period

After you submit your application at ns.com, the review process typically takes one to two weeks.

After you submit your application at ns.com, the review process typically takes one to two weeks. During busy periods or for cohorts that are filling up quickly, the timeline may be shorter as the team prioritizes processing. There is no interview stage for standard membership. The application itself is the primary evaluation tool. You will receive a notification via email with the decision. If additional information is needed, the team may reach out with follow-up questions before making a final determination.

02

Acceptance and Payment

If accepted, you will receive detailed instructions for payment, including the amount due and accepted payment methods. Network School accepts both traditional payment methods and cryptocurrency. Payment is due before your cohort start date. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a welcome package with logistical information about arrival, what to bring, and how to get from the airport to Forest City. You will also be added to the NS Discord server, where you can connect with your cohort before arrival and ask questions to current members.

Pre-Arrival Preparation

Between acceptance and arrival, you should book your flights, check visa requirements for Malaysia (most nationalities get 90 days visa-free), and review the packing suggestions provided by the team. The two main airport options are Singapore Changi (SIN) and Senai Airport (JHB) near Johor Bahru. Many members fly into Changi because of better flight connections and take a Grab or bus to Forest City. You should also download the Grab app, which is the primary ride-hailing service in the region and essential for getting around.

04

Arrival Day

Cohorts officially start on the first of each month. Most members arrive on the day before or the morning of the start date. The NS team provides orientation on the first day, including a tour of the facilities, introductions to key community members, and an overview of the weekly schedule. You will receive your room assignment, SIM card, and access credentials. By the evening of day one, you will have attended your first community dinner and begun meeting your cohort mates. The adjustment period is typically brief because the infrastructure handles most logistics for you.

The logistics from acceptance to arrival are smoother than most people expect. Pay, book a flight, show up — the team handles everything else on arrival day.
